MINISTRIES
The Men’s Ministry develops and oversees programs and activities that will serve to build and strengthen the men of RSCC both naturally and spiritually. The Men’s Ministry seeks to train and develop men to become priest in their households, Godly role models to children, ministers to the brethren, deacons in the church, armor bearers to the pastor and effective witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world.
The Women’s Ministry is committed to helping women grow as disciples of Jesus Christ by providing opportunities for worship, learning, and fellowship that strengthen their faith and daily walk with God. Through biblical teaching, discipleship, and community, the ministry equips and empowers women to live purposefully, discover and use their spiritual gifts, and deepen their relationship with Christ. It also cultivates a supportive sisterhood where women can build authentic relationships, encourage one another, and grow together in faith.
The Young Adult Ministry is designed to help individuals ages 18–35 grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ while building meaningful connections with other believers. Through Bible study, fellowship, and engaging discussions, this ministry creates a supportive, Christ-centered community where young adults can learn, grow, and navigate life together. Our goal is to encourage spiritual growth, strengthen faith, and equip young adults to live out God’s Word in their everyday lives.
The Children & Youth Ministry is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and character of our young people through engaging, Bible-centered teaching and mentorship. Through lessons, fellowship, and guidance, the ministry equips children and youth with the tools they need to grow spiritually, develop strong values, and confidently face life’s challenges. Our goal is to help them build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, understand their identity in God, and grow into faithful disciples who live out His Word and share His love with others.
The Deacons Ministry serves as a spiritual support to the church by assisting the pastor and helping care for the needs of the congregation. Through faithful service, prayer, and leadership, deacons help strengthen the ministry and support the work of the church. They are committed to upholding the values of the church while serving with integrity, humility, and a heart for God’s people.
Prayer is the primary key to the longevity and steadfast ministry of RSCC. Communicating with God in prayer is essential to the life of the believer and central effectiveness of any ministry. The Prayer Ministry promotes prayer and oversees prayer opportunities within the church. This includes handling prayer requests, scheduling prayer shut-ins, conducting corporate and intercessory prayer meetings, prayer clinics and prayer revivals. In addition, the Prayer Ministry equips, educates and encourages God’s people in their Christian walk by helping them to develop a consistent prayer life.
The In-Reach Ministry is dedicated to caring for the spiritual and personal well-being of our church family. Through encouragement, connection, and the teaching of God’s Word, this ministry helps members grow in their faith while ensuring they feel supported, valued, and connected to the RSCC community.
The ministry also oversees efforts such as welcoming and guiding new members as they transition into church life, as well as reaching out to members through calls, cards, and encouragement during times of absence, illness, or hardship, demonstrating God’s love in every season of life.
The Outreach Ministry is comprised of ministers, evangelists and lay members who have a passion for God’s people and are dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ outside the walls of the church. To reach the lost and help those in need by going out into the community, streets, parks, and prisons in order to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To minister and counsel the spiritual and natural needs of individuals, and to show God’s love through service by providing food, clothing and hosting special services, events and activities.
The Music Ministry consists of the choir, praise team and musicians. It is the Music Ministry that provides an atmosphere of spiritual healing, growth and inspiration through the gift of music. Through praise, worship and ministering in song, the Music Ministry aids the Pastor and the ministry in meeting the needs of the body of Christ.
The Media Ministry serves as an essential and key component of the church services. The Audio/Visual technicians serve to enhance the congregation’s ability to worship through sight and sound.
OUR MINISTRIES
VOLUNTEER MINISTRY
The Volunteer Ministry provides opportunities for members to serve the church and community with a heart for God and His people. Through hospitality, service, and support roles, volunteers help create a welcoming and well-organized environment for everyone who comes to RSCC.
The Ushers and Greeters are dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for everyone who enters RSCC. With hearts to serve and a love for God’s people, team members extend hospitality to staff, members, and guests, helping each person feel valued and at home in the house of the Lord.
Through greeting, seating, and assisting during services and events, ushers help maintain order and ensure that the needs of the congregation are met with care and a spirit of excellence. The ministry includes both Adult Ushers (ages 17 and over) and Junior Ushers (ages 5–16), with adult members receiving ongoing training and mentoring the next generation to serve with the same dedication and love.
The Care Crew is dedicated to creating moments of connection and care through hospitality. This team enjoys serving others by planning and coordinating food and refreshments for church fellowships, celebrations, special services, retreats, and events. With a heart for people, the Care Crew helps create welcoming spaces where our church family, guests, and leaders can gather, connect, and celebrate together.
The Parking Lot Aides helps create a welcoming and organized experience for everyone arriving at RSCC. Serving with a spirit of hospitality, team members assist with directing vehicles, providing guidance as guests arrive, and helping ensure a safe and orderly environment. This ministry plays an important role in setting a positive tone from the moment people enter the church.
